What is it about rainy days that just make you want to curl up on the couch, pull a fluffy blanket over you, have a hot cup of tea in your hands, and read a book (or take a nap)? All I know is that it all I want to on this rainy day. Not that I have done a whole lot, but I haven't curled up with a book in a while. Any chance I have to read, I choose to sleep instead. It's really quite nice.
What's even better than a nice rainy day is when the rain turns into snow. Watching the fat white snowflakes fall from the sky makes the world go quiet, everything seems to calm down, to be still. My soul feels content when the snow falls. I love the peace that can come with a snow fall.

I'd love a good rainy day where I could stay home. Or snow would be wonderful but it's getting a little late here for snow. Sigh. A good rainy day spent curled up at home sounds perfect.
